THE NEW SIGNATURE HANDBAG

Ok so this is the new hotness!! Everyone is loving it, and i'm lovin that they're lovin it :) When I designed this bag I knew that women were going to love it, but I didn't think it was going to become of as much demand as it has. I'm pretty excited how everyone is responding, and how many orders I am receiving! I am soon about to make a sister handbag to go with this one, but it's going to be a clutch. Because every women I feel should own a very classy and chic clutch. On those elegant nights when you don't want to have a buden hanging on your shoulder, or your arm. Or when you just want a quick handbag to throw your small addictions into, (cell phone, money, lip gloss, keys) lol. But over all, this I feel is going to become my signature bag ... YYAAYY ME ! :)

Behind Beautiifash & Co. ...

Longevity ... High Quality ... Influence. Three words that come to my mind that I want to be connected to my brand. It's one thing to create an image and reputation for your brand, but it' another to keep it through your brands life span. You see brands come and go, but I want to stay. I am trying to work now to create something that will still be around past my lifetime. Sometimes it's unfortunate that some things die with its creator, but Beautiifash & Co

MILAN, some where I dream to debut my fashion.  I can see everything as if it were an opportunity that was going to happen tomorrow. I dream of so much, and the sky is the limit!

However, as of now so many things are going through my mind, because there is so much to do! So much that I am trying to do. For one, my collection for summer/spring needs to be complete like TODAY lol. Just figuratively speaking. I have to finish my business plan if I ever plan to expand my company into anything big. Need my webpage complete, my online store filled with product, busines cards created and made. I'm trying to find ways to promote my line and get some word of mouth going on. People know what I do, but it's like they don't take it seriously. So it's kind of like they don't pass the word. These things need to be done amongst a lot more tasks. If I could create a team of ppl (who would be willing to work for free) to help get my dream going that would be great. However, for now it's just going to be me! I CAN DO IT :) lol

Change of Plans

So it looks like I am switching up the game plan as far as my collection. It is no longer going to be a Fall collection, i've decided to make it a Spring/Summer collection. After finding some helpful resources of that seasons trends, and listening to my mothers critiques I decided to make the switch lol. I am still really excited though! I am still thinking of other things I might do with this collection. I might go ahead and promote it for sale, possibly a few of my sample pieces. Just a marketing tactic I guess you could say. Every little thing helps !!

Because as of now I am on the road of determination! After the longest month and a half of being off of my focus I have got it back. My future is my main concern, and that's the way it has to be! I know this is going to be a task for me, due to the fact that I am a person of wanting fast results. However, I feel if I can perfect focusness lol (is that even a word) then I will be a force to be reckoned with !! OH YES! Until next time ...

Trying to get my mind right ...

So i'm sitting here looking at my fall collection, and after having my mom critique it I feel like it's incomplete. So I am back at the chopping board trying to figure out what pieces I could throw in there to complete the vision I am trying to convey. My recent collection was inspired by a song by The Dream entitled Fancy. (I will have to search for a link to the song so you can hear it). The minute I heard the song, design ideas began to come to my head, sooooo I decided to go with it. I was also inspired by some recent collections such as Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, and Prada just to name a few. Their fall runway collections were very intriguing, and I loved it! I am excited about my new collection, but I feel like it could have so much more to it. Plus I still need to keep in mind i'm trying to stay with in a time limit of getting this done. My first attempt to sketch out, design, and create a full collection. It may not be with in the right time frame of when I should have this collection done. Because technically I should have been done with my fall collection months ago (I KNOW) ... but this is a trial run for my own sake, you know ? Buuuuuuut, throw me any ideas you guys might have. something you may want to see made that you feel might be missing this fall season.

This is where it all begins ...

Sometimes it's hard for me to find my way in this world of fashion. I know it's something I love to do, but when you see all these other great brands a designer can sometimes get discouraged. It's a natural feeling, even when you know you have great potential to be up there with the top dogs! I'm on that road of discovery. Who am I as a designer? All I have is a name, and a vision ... that sometimes i don't make clear enough. However, I am ready to makes moves to a greater level !! [breathes deeply] All I need to do is take that first step and keep going with out stopping or ever looking back. 2009, is almost gone, and I need to finalize the vision of my brand completely. Seal the deal with a kiss, a prayer, and a heart full of determination! [looks around] Looking around at my room it's filled with things a designer would have, dressform, loads of fabric, hip ruler, markers, lots of dotted paper, and a creative mind. But, I am not puttin it to as much full use as I should be, i'll be honest lol. This is where it all changes, this is where a dream is borm !! So watch out world, be ready for me...
