<-- I had some fun making graphics for my company -- hadn't done that in a while so i tried some things out ... also made the banner that's on this blog too -- leave comments...I haven't been on here in a long time, and I truely appologize ! Things have been crazy for me in the past few months ! Work had picked up on my 9-5 job (considering I work at a mall, it became the holiday season so hours picked up heavy)
But to catch you guys up with the events of me and my company ... things are slowly picking up ! 2010 is going to be a big year for me, in so many ways I can't even tell you ... but I will definately show you when things begin to flow in. As of now this year my goal is to get a GIANT buzz goin about my company ! I want my handbags to be every where, and I want to continue with making clothes, I don't want to forget my roots of where I started !! Clothes will always be my number one love, for sure :-). As of now I am finally creating my S/S 2010 collection that I blogged about early on, entitled FANCY. Which I will be having shot in a prefessional photoshoot, soooo it's time to make moves. All this to be finished by Mar 10th - or at least that is the goal, GOTTA STAY FOCUSED !
Today was the first day I started draping an item from the collection ... the drape looks good, now I am just anticipating making the pattern, and sewing up the sample! It may not look like much to some people, who don't know about draping, but when u see the finished product you will see. For those of you who do understand draping then you can see my vision ...
On another note ... I've still been selling handbags here and there, getting a little bit more of a buzz, its not where I wish I was, but it's further then where I started, so I can't complain too much ... I have gotten bags to Ashanti (didn't get a photo :-[ ) and I got a bag to D. Woods from the group formally known as Danity Kane as some of you might know ...
I was opted this opportunity through a stylist from Georgia finding me over twitter (@Beautii_FASH) he asked to see some of my work, he liked it, and then coo-coo-cachoo he wanted to give a bag to her as his client. She loved the bag (something exclusive that no one else has) and he wants to continue to work with me, so I'm excited to see where that goes :-)
