Check this MIXtape --- Prelude to the ALBUM

  • Audio Push ; The Intermission
  • Chris Brown ; In My Zone 2
  • Trey Songz ; #Lemmeholddatbeat

Now a days a lot of artists are doing their thang. They come out with albums, have tours, promotional trips, and of most recent crazes mixtapes. Most times you only seen rappers having their mixtapes. Not many R&B artists was in on that game. However, mixtapes are becoming a must if your an artist, I feel. It gives the fans something to have in between time until another album comes around. Which I think is a great idea (especially since they are free)! Because after a repeat session of an album, you grow tired of the same thing. So you need a refresher before another album comes along.

So many times I feel like all different aspects of entertainment, music, fashion, lifestyle, current events ect come full circle. You always will have something great if you can pull ideas and aspects from different venues and apply them to your own craft, job, or whatever! Because you will have a broader amount of people attracted to you and what you do. For me I like to pull from whatever is inspirational for my fashion needs. After downloading a few new mixtapes (a few which I plugged up above - and I highly recommend) I feel like I would want to apply a similar concept to my business. I need to have my Mixtapes inbetween time until my album drops! But my mixtapes have to be on a dope level to keep my fans wanting more and looking forward to the album.

So now here I am - after recent mixtape inspiration, looking for ideas to start creating my FASHION mixtape. It`s going to be a new venture for me ... so I look to keep you around on this journey. Always gotta keep a fresh eye on trying new things !! Can`t be afraid to step outside the circle of the norm! Because those who aren`t afraid to try new things are the ones who stand out and get noticed. Sometimes it may not always be a good stand out. But if people are able to say something about you, and see you from a crowd of millions - YOUR DOING SOMETHING RIGHT! It's just the obstacle of once you get their attention you have to keep it !!

Until next time !!

IN CASE YOU FORGOT ...

D.WOODS of the former DANITY KANE rocking a JE`TORR original.

"AH-HA" !!

There always comes a moment in every young aspiring entrepreneur's life when they come to that "AH-HA!" moment. When they realize what they must do to make their idea - REALITY. It never comes that easy (unless you are wealthy, or have a house hold name like Rev Run or Will Smith as your father) Even so, it`s still takes time for you to build a brand that is your own, and to establish longevity. Every step you make will determine the outcome of your brand. You never want to end your career with carelessness before it can even blossom to begin. Having my own small business  - I am learning that every day. I know that day will come when people will finally see and believe in what I am trying to do (my idea/vision), and it will all be history from there. However, until that time comes - I have to put in major work.

I would have to say my "AH-HA" moment came to me the moment I got fired from my position at a manufacturing company (yeah I know sounds bad- but let`s just say shady business was happening and I got the blunt end of the stick). It was a great full time job, I was making money, and it was a job with in the industry. I was becoming comfortable. I wasn`t doing anything towards my company, I stopped networking, and pretty soon became a zombie to work. Now some odd months later here I am realizing what I thought was so horrible (losing my job), was actually a blessing in disguise. I`m back to my company grind, those early mornings - and late nights with PANDORA. =] Haha ...

This is the outcome of my hustle. I`ve learned that you must always stay ready for any opportunity that may occur. In the past I have missed MANY opportunities because I wasn`t ready. For that- I am the only one to blame! But a wise person learns from their mistakes, and doesn`t let it happen again! So as of lately, i`m on my making samples grind. "If you stay ready, you won`t have to stress about getting ready". remember that!

Until Next time ...

Here we go again ...

I`ve been getting some constant scrutinizing about why my blog isn`t updated ! I`m not gonna lie, i`ve been a bit distracted - BUT I`M BACK !! I figure like this, I gotta get my name out to you guys as many ways as possible !! I`m back on the grind, this is no longer a game - this is real! I`ve been doing a lot of different collab projects for different clothing lines. Because for one, it keeps me in the world of fashion and being able to do what I love. For two, a sista has got to make a living - RIGHT =]. For three, this industry is all about NETWORKING. But above all i`m back to my business ... Beautiifash && Co. If you don`t know the name by now remember it. I am an all around business woman, don`t expect for me to stay on the fashion side of things!

But of recent happenings lets get some pictures going shall we =]

She is the biggest craze since wonder bread, know who she is? NICKI MINAJ, yes that`s right. I must say that I can dig her swag =]. SO I felt it was only right to be her for Halloween. It gave me a great opportunity to utilize my designing abilities and make my costume. The wig is from Party city. It was originally long, but I had to spruce it up a lil and style it the way I felt Nicki would wear it. (Yes, I styled it myself). Leggings are from Ross (4 bucks, why not). Bustier designed and made by me ! This is I feel a classic look of Nicki, and the most obvious. She stays with a skin tight legging, form fitting top, boobies out! Now I don`t have as much boobie as she does, but i made it work with what I have ;]. I was in Vegas for the holiday, so it was a good change of scenery. The whole night I was known as Nicki, I got a shout out from the dj while a song was playing of hers, had my picture taken with people. It was a successful night i must say =]

I`ve come to realize that I have a lot more men clientele then I do women. (Don`t know what it is) But these are some button-ups i`ve sewn for a few clients.

Until we meet again !
