He comes along side us ...

"He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us." (2 Corinthians 1:4 *message bible*)

Often times when your on a path of greatness, there will be a lot of obstacles to over come to make it to your destination. It`s never going to be an easy road to follow. You will always have the people around you who you feel should be  avid supporters - aren`t. You will be discouraged to believe that you can make it big, and be successful. You are going to feel like you just want to give up on hard work and patience to get to success the quick way. But I believe that those things that come quick - leave quick. However, if you can persevere through adversity then the reward of your accomplishments will be that much greater. Those same dreams that seem impossible to reach - You WILL reach them. At the same time, it will be encouragement to someone else who is trying to do the same.

As of lately, i`ve found myself becoming discouraged. Situations that are going on in my life right now, is making my dream seem to fall farther and farther away from grasp. Sometimes it almost seems pointless to keep going. It`s hard when you hear so many people say "anything is possible, just follow your dreams - and you will achieve". However, it`s not until you find out how much work is required to get to those dreams that sometimes makes you fall away from those dreams. Settling for that regular 9-5 just to get a paycheck to survive. Disappearing into the crowd of billions. That`s when having your support group, and people who are striving for the same goal as you is important to have. I`ve found that the more I find people who are wanting to get to the same place as me, it keeps me going. I may be running my business alone, but that doesn`t mean I have to try and make it alone. Some of the people that I am surrounded by who have their own clothing line, business, or are just living out their dreams as we speak truly inspire me. I have told some, but not all. I watch by silently and gravitate towards their energy. Because if you`re surrounded by positivity you are bound to have positive outcomes. However, if you`re surrounded by negativity you are bound to have negative outcomes.

It`s always at the times when you feel at your lowest that you have to push through. Don`t fall into the trap and lies of those who are "hating". H.A.T.E.R.S = Having Anger Towards Everyone Reaching Success. You will have those who don`t want anything for you, but to be miserable just like them. That`s why its important to protect your blessings from those who just want to bring you down. It doesn`t include just strangers, but it`s even those who are closest to you; family & friends. The best thing you can do to the haters in encourage them in something. Most times I feel like haters have a dream, but they are lacking support, encouragement, and positivity. As we look for someone to be those things for us, we should try to be those things to someone else.

Golden Globes 2011 Best Dressed

Now I know many of you fashionistas/fashionistos either tuned in for the red carpet and showing of the 68th Annual Golden Globes Awards. On the other hand, for those who are like me, just tuned in for the red carpet to see what all the celebs decided to wear. Now on an occassion like this I find it`s very vital to look at your best, and be dressed appropriate for such a night as this. Now the way I see it, there are many award shows and I feel they all call out for a certain dress code and dress standard. The Golden Globes is one that you want to wear your best and be prepared for, and not look like you picked out your outfit at the last minute out of a Nordstrom`s Rack clearance section. Now there were a nice handful of women that I felt hit this image and appearance right on the head. I decided to narrow it down to my top 3. Now mind you, I picked these out before I looked at what other blogs, gossip columns, and sites dubbed as the best dressed. It looks like I did pretty well for my first award critique, because all these were in the top picks.

ANGELINA JOLIE; Atelier Versace
Out of the few Emerald green gresses that were worn that night, I felt she rocked it the best! Miss Jolie is definitely wearing this dress. The timeless Long sleeve gown with a minor train was so simple; with its beautiful sparkle, but looked so good. However I do wish that she would have done something better with her hair. That is where I deducted some points. If she was going to wear it down some soft curls could have turned this don`t into a do.

EVA LONGORIA; Zac Posen
This Gown was absolutely GORGEOUS! When I seen this, I automatically wanted it. I loved everything about this look. The dress fit her body to the T, it had timeless chic and glamour, and was accerssorized perfecty to show off the pure simplistic beauty of the gown and not drown it out. Her make-up was fresh and light. And her hair looked great! She walked that red carpet looking amazing, two thumbs up!

ANNE HATHAWAY; Armani Prive
What I love about this dress is how some people found it to be kind of out dated. This is a look that I feel was effortless, and came together on its own. Head to toe was picture perfect. BUT WAIT, just when you thought there wasn`t any punch to the dress, besides the beaded|sequins detail and puffed sleeve- she turns around and she`s got the back completely exposed. Something I definitely adore and am a fan of. This is what did it for me on this look. Aside from the outfit her hair and make-up was lovely as well.

Almost there;

Jennifer Lopez; Zuhair Murad
Leighton Meester; Burberry Prorsum
Scarlett Johansson; Elie Saab

MLK

Today is the day we celebrate one man, of many who stood up and made a difference for African Americans. This man didn`t make a difference through violence, but he made a difference with his words, his love, and his dedication. We as African Americans can sometimes take the freedom we have today for granted because we were born with the same rights as every other man. However, things weren`t as they were today. There are many who probably would have never thought in a million years that we would have an African American president. And yet, here we are today as a race, as a people who overcame adversity that could have tore our nation apart. I am grateful for this man and his efforts, his suffering, and his heart. He was one cause that effected the rest of the world. Awesome … Thank You MLK … Thank You!

Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day !!

Female Weezy ? We think so ...

"6`7"

Exclusive interview with B Dot Oh Yesss
'She`s ready to let the game know she`s here, and no we not talking bout Weezy'

So for those who don`t know you, give us a quick bio of yourself. My name is Brittani Dominique Smith, but I go by the name of B Dot Oh Yesss. I`m 24 years old From Rialto/Rancho Cucamonga, and I am a musician (rap and harmonize ha-ha).

*Laughs* harmonize ... is that right? Yes ma'am *laughs* People don`t know that side of me yet but they definitely will.

So when you say harmonize are you saying that you can sing - I’m sure inquiring minds want to know? I can sing a little but I'll just say harmonize just so there will be no confusion and a certain expectation *laughs*.

Ha-ha ok, that`s the safe thing to do. When was the first time that you spit a sick flow and knew that this was what you wanted to do? To be honest I didn't know at all until I was talked into it by Jordan (cousin/manager) and this was at the end of September 2010. So it was just a spur of the moment type thing. My first time in the studio I super fell in love with this whole making music thing.

What was the first encounter he had of this talent of yours, or in other words how did he find out you even had the ability to rap? He found out at the beginning of September when he heard a couple of songs a friend and I had done. Those songs where just for fun I wasn't even thinking about pursuing this

So would you say this was a talent you never knew you really had? I knew I could do it but not to this extent I just thought it was always a biased opinion so I never took myself serious.

Oh ok, so how would you describe your style of rapping? My style, I would have to say I’m very similar to Lil Wayne because we use NUMEROUS amounts of metaphors.

So would you say that he influences you lyrically ... or would you say the comparison is coincidental? I would probably say both...if that makes any sense.

Yes it does. How does it make you feel when you hear people comparing you and saying that you’re the female Wayne? Do you feel pressured by that or inspired? First and foremost, I definitely feel inspired because it’s such an honor. That’s like a kid who grew up idolizing Michael Jordan and people later compare this kid to him. However, it can be a little pressuring but I’m used to being a competitor so it’s not bad at all.

Right, I can only imagine how that made you feel - when you had that first person tell you, “wow you are the female Wayne.” So let`s keep it real - do you feel like you’re as skilled as Wayne, or better? Ha-ha yes I was all smiles, I’m actually smiling right now *laughs*. Ehh I would just say I feel like I can compete for now, but I will definitely work on getting on his level completely or maybe even better. Everyone wants to be the best at something and that is what I am definitely working on.

If people are already comparing you to him, you can only get better, I live to see the day when you battle with him. *laughs* because I’m going to be there when you beat him. But, since this is the beginning of 2011, what do you plan to accomplish this year? Ha-ha I can’t wait for that day either. I just plan on doing as many songs as I can and working on my craft. But the biggest goal is to put my team (The U) and me on the map! And after that SPACE is definitely the limit!

Yeah because the sky is no longer the limit. It sure isn`t *laughs*

Who is "The U", and who does it consist of? The U consists of Donye'a G., Merge, Deezy, Kenny Wright, Faye Valentine, Dave Young, A Roc, Ami and I. Which are producers, writers, and artists.

Ok so this is the team that you plan to take with you to the top? Indeed.

Always important to have a team, what can we anticipate from you on your upcoming mixtape? And do you have a name for it yet? Everything! Different tempos, different genres, harmonizing...everything! Yes, it’s called "Prepare for Takeoff"

Do we have an anticipated release date yet? It’s the first of a 4 vol. Mixtape. We are shooting for the 21st or the 28th of January.

Ok, that’s right around the corner. A 4 volume mixtape, that’s a different approach, what made you want to do a 4 volume mixtape - is there any kind story behind that? Well it’s only because we have come up with 4 different names and they all coincide and have a similar theme.

Well I look forward to hearing what each mixtape will bring. Because I’m sure they will all bring to the table some pieces that the current rap game is missing. Me too that is what I'm definitely shooting for.

And last but definitely not least, where is it that people can get in contact with you, twitter, facebook, blog? Definitely on (Twitter.com/bdotohyesss), (Facebook.com/bdotohyesss), and I will eventually have my own website.

Well we all look forward to that ... thank you for your time and we look forward to that mixtape we are def going to have to chit chat it up again when it drops. Of course... and thank you for the opportunity!!!

The Next Episode Review & Download link

"The Next Episode"

Highly anticipated, never duplicated Mr Khleo Thomas, of the most popular movie that people know him from "holes", is back at it again! But as he says he`s done more then holes, and music is being added to that resume for sure now.

Now if you haven`t heard his first mixtape "The world is a cartoon" then I suggest you download that and listen to it before you encounter his latest mixtape (follow the link by clicking on the mixtape title). Because when you hear his latest "The Next Episode" you definitely see his progress. As he said in his interview with me this new mixtape is all wrapped up in one word, BETTER! Now that i`m hearing the complete project I definitely agree Khleo! I thought the other one was good, but this one is better! Those Green monsters hae brought out the best lol.

To speak on Khleo as an artist I appreciate the fact that he can have a dope track without cussing! I feel if you can get a message across without having the extras I enjoy it a lot more. Now some may find that to be a negative, but NO I find that to be a positive. I feel that this mixtape holds the lyrical, conceptual, sexy, and high energy tracks that makes this mixtape a great compilation. This is what I like to hear. Great job Khleo, I look forward to the follow up mixtape and getting with you to do a feature on that as well! Enjoy!

Diamondz, Boyz, & 808`s Review & Download Link

 "DIAMONDZ, BOYS & 808`s"

The highly anticipated Mixtape of Kanary Diamonds is finally here! After all the constant RT`s from her Twitter as well as from fans about her mixtape - everybody was definitely excited and anticipating this drop. Today is #KDAY, but for me it came early because I had the privilege of listening to it before it`s scheduled drop date.

Now when you first see miss Kanary, you automatically think 'she`s just another pretty face what kind of skill could she have?' a judgment she is very familiar with and on a mission to BREAK! I can say I thought the same! (sorry girl), but when you hear the first track on her mixtape *sings* she`s your Queeeeeen to beeeee. Ha-ha ... you see that she`s about her talent. Don`t let her pretty looks fool you!

Now I listened to the mixtape probably about four times total, because after listening to something numerous times you can give your true opinion on it. For me, this mixtape did it for me! I could listen to it each time all the way through without skipping a track. I felt the mixtape was well rounded. She had her conceptual tracks, her get the party started tracks, and her raw edge tracks. Something I always look for when I listen to a mixtape. Because most times I feel a mixtape should showcase a little bit of everything that you can do. And I definitely feel that this mixtape delivered!

I find that her fans will not be disappointed! Great job Kanary ... Enjoy!

This Woman Right here, is somethin else!

I have been truly blessed to have a woman like this in my life! I know that there are many people who aren`t fortunate to have a mother in their life, so for that I am grateful. She has done so much for me in my 22 going on 23 years of life and no words can describe how much I am thankful and appreciative of what she`s done for me.

Shes`s firstly my mother. The person who watches over me, protects me, tells me right from wrong. She gives me wisdom, she lends me guidance, she has taught me about my heavenly father. Above all one of the most prized things she could ever teach me.

Secondly she is my friend. She`s been there for me through my ups and downs with boys, she`s been there to give me those encouraging words, and she`s always believed in me and what I do. She has supported me since day one with my business, kept me strong when I was at my weakest, and always knows the right things to say when I'm down.

She is the most amazing woman I know, and I am so proud to call her my mother. She makes me laugh, she makes me think, and she makes me want to be the best woman I can be. I hope that when I have kids of my own that I can teach them as well as she has taught me!! Because of her I am the strong, God-fearing, fun-loving, ambitious woman I am today. No one can compare ... I love her !!

Get your GREEN Monster Ready ...

"The Next Episode"
dropping 1.11.11
Exclusive interview with Khleo Thomas
'Tune in with your Green monster as Khleo takes you to a while nother level'

Alright so for those who by some chance may not know you, tell us a quick bio of yourself. Khleo Thomas, 21, born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in Los Angeles. Told my mom I wanted to be an Entertainer at 5 years old and never looked back. Did films such as: Roll Bounce, Walking Tall, Holes, Dirty, and Hurricane Season. TV Shows such as ER, CSI - Las Vegas, House, Bernie Mac Show & a lot more.

And from following your career I know you have a nice resume :-). So when you said you wanted to be an entertainer that meant you wanted to hit all aspects not just one particular genre? Yeah. The greatest entertainers didn't do just one thing, they were capable of doing it all

That is definitely true, if you’re going to do it, do it big and do it well! So I know you`ve been in the industry of film for some time now, for pretty much a decade! Have you been doing music as well for that long or has this been more of a recent passion? I've always wrote music, I just never had the outlet to release it. Soon as I found out how simple it was, I started flooding the Internet with music

When was the first time that you put that pen to paper and wrote your first song? What was going on in your life at that moment that inspired you to write? I wrote a song about a girl in 5th grade. Her name was Lauren Thomas. I made it seem like we were already married cause of our last name Hahaha

*Laughs* That`s real cute! Did you perform it to her or did you keep this to yourself? I let her read the lyrics she laughed and tore the paper to shreds

*Mouth drops* woooow .... That had to hurt!! Hahhaaaaa. For about 3 minutes, then I started crushing on her friend. :)

Ha-ha alright now, that`s how it goes, on to the next one as Jay-z says! We all know you`ve had history with Bow Wow. As we`ve seen you've been in a movies with him, as well as been on tour with him. could you say he`s been a mentor for you and your music career? Bow put me in a mind state to grind for respect. I don't think Bow will ever see me as a fellow music artist, we too close as friends. Hahaha.

Oh man - I guess sometimes it can be like that *laughs*. When he hears your music how does he respond to it? Does he keep it 100 with you and tell you when you should have came harder, and critique your work? I don't ever hear from him about the music I put out. He loved "Like I never Left" though

Ok, ok ... now, we all know you can act, and we know you can do your rapping thing, but the burning question is do you truly got the dancing skills to match. I mean I’ve seen some action but do you be cutting a rug? I actually did a film called "Boogie Town" with Marques Houston. It was basically Underworld meets every dance film created and I got my dance on for real. Not sure when that films dropping but keep an eye out for it.

Ok that sounds like an interesting concept! I just watched a preview of it, looks interesting!! Were you casted as a lead role, or just strictly as a backup dancer? Lead

Well I will definitely look out for that! Ok but in all seriousness, YOUR MIXTAPE! I have heard the last one (the world is a cartoon) and I loved it! How would you say The Next Episode is going to compare in the eyes of your fans? Better! I'm only describing it as that. BETTER!

Got the one word, BETTER! Alright so would you say your skill level has gotten BETTER from your last mixtape? The stories, the beats, and the quality is all BETTER!

Alright, that`s what`s up! You always have to come better than your last ... On the track "the world is a cartoon' from your previous mixtape. Was that a sample of Kriss Kross ‘jump jump'? YES! hahaha. It was. It was actually Nipsey Hussles song. I just felt it fit, considering I broke down what I meant about THE WORLD BEING A CARTOON.

Once the beat came in I was like wooow he took it back I LOVED IT and the song itself was niiice, Kriss Kross was probably one of my favorite old school rap duos when I was younger. Hahahaaa. Agreed

What is your process when you go about getting tracks together for your mixtape? Do you have some kind of ritual you go through as far as inspiration and what you want to make sure you get across with your mixtapes? Tell a full story, motivate those who listen to me. Ritual - Crack A monster, go ghost, and let the beat write the song for me

Ha-ha got to hit that monster. Is there a certain flavor you have to have or it doesn’t matter *laughs* Green, only Green!

Ok, ok – stay with the original. Would you say that MOTIVATION is your main objective for you as an 'entertainer'? Definitely

Now what`s your favorite track on your forth coming mixtape that you hope that people will just be on completely? And why? I have a song called CUT YOU DOWN with a Johnny Cash sample that has 1 hell of a story. I'm pretty much telling people how dirty the industry is. Three different stories, in three different verses that end up crashing together at the end

That sounds like a pretty deep track that`s going to make people def talk about it! I hope so.

That’s going to have to be the first track I listen to. But I see that your hitting the mixtape game hard, do you plan on coming out with an official CD. Can we expect that project any time soon? Do u look to sign to a label possibly? I want to. My single LIGHTS OUT drops in February along with the video. So after I see how that does, I'll make a decision on the album. I'm independent for right now, if it comes, it comes.

Well sir I definitely look forward to any future work you have coming!! I know things will work out the way they should, because as of now YOUR DOIN IT :-) Lastly where can the people get in contact with you, Facebook, Twitter, blogs? Twitter.com/Khleo_t, YouTube.com/Khleology, Khleo.tumblr.com

Dope! Well thank you Khleo for taking the time out to interview with me, I truly appreciate it! Keep doing your thang, and I look forward to doing something with you on future projects. No thank you love

Hello World - Nary here ...

"Diamondz, Boyz, & 808's"
dropping 1.11.11
Exclusive Interview with Kanary Diamondss
'get in tune with the woman who`s here to set the rap game straight'

So to start things off for those who are new to you and your music give us a quick bio of yourself. My name is Kanary Diamonds I’m a well rounded entertainer I rap/sing/act from watts California and I’m 22 years old.

So your real name is Kanary diamonds? *Laughs* no but I don’t tell it for privacy, but I do own it so it’s mine *laughs*

Alright that’s an interesting case, I respect it *Laughs* thanks

Ok so I see you’re from watts. How much does you being from Watts play in your music style? It plays a major role in my music because it made me who I am and my music is a reflection of every part of me. I share my life experiences and struggles from being from watts with my audience

Ok, what is one experience that you find stands out the most in how it affects your music? By me being from the hood people look at how I look and are surprised. Which I find strange I feel like they’re telling me attractive people can’t come from the hood. So some people think because of the way I look I shouldn’t talk about my hood experiences in my music

Yeah I find that people can judge you by the way you look on any aspect, and that can be a weapon for you to use. If anything it will attract more people to you once they see your talent. Yeah I use it as fuel for my music.

That’s awesome, how did you get the name Kanary Diamonds? Is there a special story behind that? I was doing some research and found out the Kanary diamond is a rare diamond so I was like that matches me. I’m a rare rap chick I’m a entertainer and that’s something you’ve never seen from a female MC I’m like a rapping Janet Jackson when it comes to my show. So I thought it was a perfect match

Ok that does sound like a perfect fit. When was the first moment you realized this was what you wanted to do as a career? I was about 16 I was a background dancer and got a chance to be in a girl group so I took the opportunity and ran with it

What was the name of this group? Dime piece

well that`s cool! I know that you are inspired by artists such as Dr. Dre, Tupac, Biggie, Jay-z, and Lauryn Hill. What is one thing you like about each of them that you feel influences how you are as an artist? Being from the west coast Dr. Dre is like royalty so I’ve always look up to him. I loved 2pac’s passion he put into his music and Biggie’s flow was sick. I believe Jay Z is the best, maybe the best to ever do it! That man is amazing. And Lauryn Hill was dope. I love how she didn’t go with what everyone else was doing and managed to make catchy music out of real topics. They all inspire me in some way.

Yeah I have to agree with you on Lauryn Hill, that was my girl! She sang and she could flow nicely on everyday topics. Have you ever had someone say you’re a copy cat of any current or past female rappers? No I’ve been compared to Foxy and Eve, but I’ve never been labeled a "copy cat" because I’m genuine to who I am.

Ok yeah, I can see how you would be compared to them. Would you ever want to work with one of them on a track? Yes I would love to work with both of them.

That would be a track I would love to hear. What are you trying to bring to the game of rap that you feel is truly missing - besides the fact that we rarely see any female rappers these days that are REALLY doing it? I think real life is missing from hip-hop. I think everything is watered down and I’m on a mission to bring that back.

I can honestly agree with that, sometimes I feel like the game is missing real life, just painting pictures of what people want; the glitz and the glamour. You have longevity in your career if you can appeal to everyday people and their day to day life. Exactly!

That’s why you hear people saying they still listen to Tupac and Lauryn Hill and artists alike. I see that you have had quite some exposure - such as having your songs on Making the band 4, Bad Girls Club, and Waist deep. How did that make you feel to hear your voice on some well known shows and films like that? It makes me feel great every time. It makes me feel that much closer to my goals and it gives me fuel to keep going.

Ok so, let`s get to it - tell us about this Mixtape that`s about to drop. What’s it called? It’s called "Diamondz, Boys & 808's"

How did you come up with that name? I wanted something that represented my life but i didn’t want a title that was too deep that went over people’s heads. *Laughs* so I came up with three things that can represent that. Diamondz represent me, the glitz & glamour the fun youthful side. The Boyz represent my pain, struggles things that brings me pain. In most women’s life males bring the most adversity so I thought the word "boyz" would represent well *laugh*. And 808's represent the brighter side of my life my MUSIC, my love, my family, my joy, & happiness. Therefore "Diamondz, Boys & 808's” represent ME!

I love that!! I’m sure a lot of women can vouch for the 'boyz' part of the title, me being one of them. Thanks *laughs* exactly

What was the first track that you wrote for the mixtape, and how did you get inspired to write it? It’s a song called "Give it up" I was in a "situation" with a boy *laughs* and I had enough and when he realized it was over he kept calling me trying to get back.

Girl don’t we all know that story!! *Laughs* right!

Don’t you just feel empowered when you make a decision that’s best for you? Yes letting go is the best feeling

What is the strongest message you want your mixtape to get through to your fans, and those who have never heard you and may be the first time they are being introduced to your music? I want them to know this is just a snippet who I am, and what I have to offer- it’s only the beginning. I hope my music helps them feel better about themselves, help them, and can be added to the sound tracks of their lives.

Definitely love it and respect it! So lastly where can the people reach you miss kanary? Facebook, twitter, blog? You can visit my website www.kanarydiamonds.com and visit me on twitter.com/kanary, facebook.com/kanarydiamonds and youtube.com/kanarydiamonds
Awesome! I`m sure the people will be trying to reach you and have any type of connection to you after this mixtape drops!! But thank you girl for taking time out to talk with me, I look forward to hearing your mixtape, I wish you all the success, and I look forward to working with you on future projects! Thanx i really appreciate you taking out your time also Thanks, I really appreciate you taking out your time also

I`m doing this for the little girl who is like me ...

When  I look back over the past years of my life it`s so amazing to see how far i`ve come. I remember when I was a young girl just trying to fit in with the cool kids, now i`m trying to stand apart. With every success there is a story. No one can say they don`t have a story as to why they got where they are currently. Even though we go through moments, trials, and tests that we wish we never had to go through - in the end it all has a purpose. There are better decisions I wish I would have made, people I could have done with out, and one single regret in my past. However, if I were to change one thing in my past, i`m sure it would effect my present and where i`d be at right now.

Because today was my first glimpse of what i`ll be doing for the rest of my life. I`ve never been more driven to get my company up and running then I am right now. To have people who are in my corner and truly believe in me, my craft, and what I do is amazing. It makes be feel like I can truly do this. God has really taken me through some tests in this past year and i`m trying to do my best to pass them. Because I know I have failed and gone through a few of the same test numerous times. You can`t make progress until you make the change you need to get there.

But today was the first photo shoot of many more to come that I styled with some accessories. These were pure promotional head shots so there needed to be some added glamour of some sort to the shot. So I ended up using some of my own shades, along with some hand crafted studs I made myself. it`s always reassuring to have people that love my product and what i create. Sometimes it is hard to stay true to yourself when your goal is to appeal to the masses! However, I always have to remember who i`m doing this for and why. I`m doing this for the girl who has difficulty trying to fit in, i`m doing this for the girl who sometimes wasn`t confident enough in herself to know she is something special, i`m doing this for the girl who is like me! In most cases all women can relate to this girl. Nobody can say their life was perfect or that they had everything about themselves in tact. Whether is be physically, mentally, emotionally, maybe even spiritually. So today felt like the biggest step in the world today. Because I felt like I was on the way to showing that little girl who may be watching me that its ok to not fit in. God made us the way we were for a reason. Take it and embrace it! Because you never know when that time might come that you will have little girls looking up to you.

Today was honestly a great day!
and it`s all because of Him, my Heavenly Father :)

Until Next time!

Keep it Beautiful!
Keep it Fashionable!

Dear 2011 ...

Dear 2o11,

I made it ! I thank God that i`m here to witness you, i`m here to get to know you. You are already preordained and approved for me to go through. I am nervous, but excited to see what you hold for me. Your cousin 2o1O brought on some tough punches. Most of which I wasn`t ready for.  I almost thought he was going to win, but I couldn`t let that happen. Because I wanted to meet you 2o11!

I have heard so much about you, and everyone was anticipated to meet you. Now, your finally here. I have already made up in my mind - I have already made that choice - that I want to start this year long relationship and for it to be a good one. I don`t want to bring the baggage that I carried on with your cousin into this new venture. Because you aren`t like your cousin, I have this feeling that you will have a lot more positivity for me. Unlike your cousin who was put in my life to test me. He blinded me with false visions that I thought to be safe, but soon turned out to be the total opposite. I don`t regret being with your cousin, because he taught me well. He taught me things that I needed for this year long relationship we are about to have.

Everything is so far so good, and these are the moments I will remember. So teach me new things, open my eyes to new sites, cross me through different and new people`s paths, keep me busy, show me more good times, give me more new laughs. But I ask of you 2o11 to take out unnecessary heart ache, pointless distractions, negative people, tears on my pillow at night, and false truths. I am here, and I am ready to get this thing started. So let`s enjoy every moment we have together, because I am looking to make it to 2o12.

Sincerely,

A Determined Fashionista
